Bregenz
Bregenz is an Austrian city at the eastern end of Lake Constance, the third largest fresh water lake in Central Europe. It is the capital of the state of Vorarlberg. It is known as Bodensee and is one of the most beautiful lakes in Austria and shares it's borders with Germany and Switzerland.
During the summer months the lake acts as a unique backdrop for operas and music performances. The annual Bregenz Festival is a major event which has a floating stage and was the filming location for one of the legendary James Bond movies "Quantum of Solace".
Ceremony
Registry office Bregenz offers quite a few marriage options. One is to have the civil ceremony held in one of their branch offices like St. Martins Tower – the towns landmark, another in an old school house, in historical villas or on a boat of Bodenseeschifffahrt at lake Constance.
For religious wedding ceremonies there are several Roman Catholic churches and chapels in the surrounding area and the Protestant Kreuzkirche.
Reception
Having your ceremony on the boat, it will of course be followed by Champagne and some nibbles, wedding cake and coffee whilst you cruise along the stunning setting of the lake with some famous tunes from the string quartet playing in the back ground.
If you decide to tie the knot in one of the historical villas, the gardens and impressive rooms will guarantee some great wedding pictures, providing you with ever lasting memories.
